AppCoLab exists because emerging mental health and addiction treatments are advancing rapidly while Appalachian communities are consistently left last to access them, so we work across the region, alongside individuals, families, researchers, clinicians, and policymakers, through research, education, and advocacy grounded in rigorous science and cultural integration, toward a future where access is determined by need, not geography.
