A free monthly and virtual conversation on emerging mental health treatments, opioid settlements, traditional medicines, and the next generation in Appalachian communities.
Open to anyone who wants to be part of it.
We meet on the last Monday of every month in 2026. 5-6:30PM ET. Zoom link and full session archive are sent after you confirm your registration, which also subscribes you to the AppCoLab Newsletter.
Speaker: Alanna Collins, co-founder of Truth is One, a Blue Ridge Mountains interfaith church, and a facilitator trained and initiated in the Santo Daime and Umbandaime traditions of Brazil. A nurse practitioner as well as a ceremonial facilitator, she has stood in both the clinical and the traditional worlds, and she brings that dual perspective to a grounded conversation about what these traditions hold, what integration really asks of a person, and how any of it meets the reality of addiction and recovery in Appalachia.
